As much as I love makeup and buying new products, I've only really ever bought from Sephora and the drugstore. Both those places have a great selection, but there are still some brands that I haven't tried, but heard so much about both from the blogging world and Youtube world. So, here is a list of brands that I haven't yet tried, but would like to try. Now, be warned: Some of these are embarrassing!!!
I told you this would be embarrassing. Would you believe that I've never bought anything from MAC before? I've been gifted a limited edition bronzer from there six years ago ("Get Away Bronze" from the To The Beach collection), and other than that, I've not tried much else other than swatching things in store. I'm particularly interested in trying the Strobe Cream, some paint pots, and lipsticks.
02. It Cosmetics
I confess, I've actually *recently* gotten my hands on an It Cosmetics palette, which I am loving! There is a swatches and review post on it coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled. Since I've had such a great first impression with the palette, I'm really curious to try other products from the line, such as the CC cream that everyone and their mother is going on and on about.
03. Charlotte Tilbury
Oh Charlotte, you have such pretty makeup and packaging that makes me get heart eyes. Too bad none of it is sold in my province :( Charlotte tilbury is quite expensive, but I'd like to get my hands on a cream shadow or a lipstick at least!
04. Makeup Geek
I'd love to put together my own perfect palette using the eyeshadow singles from Makeup Geek. From what I gather, it is a fairly inexpensive brand with quality eyeshadows. I've recently started watching Marlena on Youtube and she is a babe!
In my defense, Glossier isn't sold yet in Canada. But you can bet that when it is available here, I will try it out. The entire aesthetics of the line appeals to me, with its minimalistic, polished, but laissez-faire style of beauty.
Now that is a lot of makeup to just go out and buy, but all in due time. I am currently in New York, which has a lot more makeup available that I couldn't buy in Montreal, so perhaps I will pick up a few goodies from the above brands.
What is a makeup brand that you would like to try?
