I briefly spoke about this product on my post A Few New Korean Skincare Products. It was a good first impression, and I have more nice things to say about it!
Cost: $19 CAD for 60 patches (about 30 uses)
Claims: Provides moisture and elasticity for the sensitive under eye area. Improves on wrinkles on the eye area.
Can we talk about packaging? I love the packaging on most Korean products, I feel like they really get it, y'know? I love the lavender colour (tbh it's the reason I chose these eye patches over the other ones lol). The product also comes with a little spatula thing which helps to pick up the eye patches from the container. It would be much too difficult to use your fingers since the patches are so slippery!
I place the patches after applying toner. At first, since they're slippery and a bit more "juicy" with the product, they slowly slide down my face. But I just put them back in place and after a few minutes it stops doing that. I keep them on for about 20-30 minutes and when I peel them off, my under eye area feels so incredibly moisturized. I don't use an eye cream, so I think it is nice to show my under eyes a lil' bit of TLC. After all, they are always excluded from face masks.
Since I'm in my 20s, I can't say whether or not this product improves on wrinkles. But I'd imagine it would, if not temporarily, since I notice a slight plumping effect when I remove the patches. Sometimes, after removing the patches, I don't like to throw them out just yet! I actually place them on my hands near my knuckles which are the most dry and scaly. After ten minutes, my hands look in much noticeably better condition.
To bring this product up a notch, I placed them in the fridge overnight and applied them in the morning. It felt SO GOOD. Try it. During allergy season, I reckon doing this would feel amazing.
One thing to note about this product is that it expires after 2 months of opening it. So if you get this, you should be using it fairly often, at least every second day in order to get through the whole thing in 2 months. I'm totally ok with doing that since I'm really enjoying using these eye patches at the moment.
Finally, the price can't be beat. People talk about how great a deal those Peter Thomas Roth cucumber eye patches are, but those are 60 dollars for the exact same amount of eye patches as this Koelf one!
Do you use eye patches? Which ones have you tried / liked?
