Starting tomorrow, November 10 to 15, Sephora's VIB and VIB Rouge members get 20% off which is pretty sweet considering Sephora rarely has sales. When it comes to beauty, I find Sephora just so bloomin expensive, and even though I have a beauty blog and love to try new products, I generally limit myself from buying much from there. But I mean... I still manage to become VIB every year LOL.
Lately I've been loving IT Cosmetics. I'm a total IT fan girl. Their products aren't cheap (nothing is cheap at Sephora, let's be real), so the Sephora sale is a good chance to try IT Cosmetics. At this point, I've tried a bunch of products from IT and I've been happy with all of them. The CC Cream is great, having achieved cult status by now. It's a great foundation for people who don't really like foundations (tinted moisturizers and bb creams 4eva) as it has good coverage, looks radiant, and doesn't make your skin feel like it's suffocating. Plus the added SPF 50 makes it a winner. I also recommend IT Cosmetics' Bye Bye Undereye Corrector Concentrate (review), their Naturally Pretty palette (review), the Bye Bye Pores powder, and their brushes which are far superior to any other brushes I've tried.
For skincare, I recommend trying Boscia products - their Tsubaki Beauty Oil and Thermal Black Cleanser are amazing. The REN Evercalm Day Cream is a great option if you're looking for a soothing and balmy day cream that works wonderfully under makeup. I've also recently discovered the Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Mask. It makes your skin look so smooth and airbrushed!
I want to get the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess because my hairdresser raved about it and because I realized that I actually don't have a plain bronzer. Shocking. I have a bronzer with some shimmer in it but I am missing a good ol' bronzer that can warm up my complexion. I'm also running very low on my BareMinerals Original Foundation so I think I'll pick up the Ingrid Nilsen set that comes with the powder foundation, a brush, and the Invisible Glow Highlighter.
I'm also thinking of splurging on some skincare. I really loved the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum sample from Sephora's Birthday gift this year, so I want to get the full sized product. It's also sort of a tradition that I get a face mist each sale, so I might get the famous Caudalie Beauty Elixir. Peep the rest of my wishlist below!
Let me know what you plan on getting at the sale!
