Hey guys! I have some garbage to show you. These are some products that I've finished up recently, and while I don't go that in-depth about them, I give you a general sense of my thoughts on them. I'm sure I'll make another empties in February because there are some other products I'm running low on.
Marcelle Gentle Makeup Remover | This product was featured in my post "Best Beauty Bits of 2016" because that's how much I like it. I purchased this bottle last March at the Marcelle warehouse sale, and it's lasted me this long! This makeup remover is very gentle and effective at removing waterproof makeup. It is one of those things I will continue to repurchase at the warehouse sales, and in fact, I've already got a backup!
Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara | I really liked the wand on this mascara because it doesn't allow any clumps. Hence the name. But it was a very thin, natural sort of mascara that didn't hold a curl. I wouldn't repurchase, but I would be curious to try the waterproof version.
L'Oréal Voluminous Féline Mascara | Meh. I didn't think much of this mascara. It didn't hold a curl and my lashes didn't look particularly good. Furthermore, the wand doesn't have any special shape to give a cat eye effect (which you would assume this mascara does because of the name).
Nars Creamy Concealer | I got the shade Custard, but I found it was a little bit too dark for me this time of year, especially for under my eyes where I want something brighter. I do enjoy using this in the summer though. Lately, I've been mixing this with other lighter concealers, and it works well applied with a sponge. It has good coverage and overall, I would repurchase if I found it in the right shade.
Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation | This is a deluxe sample size of the cream (7 ml), and it took me over two weeks to finish it. I liked this product, so that's why I got the 30 ml version of it (haul post here). I'm going to make a more in-depth post about it, but the lowdown is that it has a thin, silky consistency and it's really nice to wear underneath makeup.
Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist | This is actually the second deluxe sample size of this mist that I've gone through, and the verdict is that it's just ok. It doesn't do much in the setting-your-makeup department, but it is nice to use right before applying skincare and makeup. I wouldn't repurchase the full size as I think it's overpriced for what it is (floral water with not many other nourishing ingredients).
Empties posts are really satisfying for me, because I've been hoarding these empty products up and it's just so nice to finally throw them away. I also love getting rid of clutter and actually seeing my products go to use. Let me know if you guys have used any of these products and your thoughts on them!
