September 2015 Ipsy Bag

I'm quite pleased. The ipsy makeup bag this September is a bronzy colour and has a slightly different shape than previous bags. It is perfect for both makeup and to use as a pencil case since it is a longer shape. Btw, I just realized looking at my archives that for July's ipsy bag, I had written "July Ipsy Bag 2014" lol. Derp!

Now, let's see what is in the bag!

A bronze eyeliner by J.Cat Beauty, which is very waterproof. Indeed, I swatched it on my hand and the next day it was still there (albeit slightly faded since I had washed my hands numerous times - but still, pretty impressive). I reckon this would look amazing on anyone with blue eyes. The dual-ended brush is by Crown Brush. One end has a fluffy shadow brush, and the other end is sort of a smudgy pencil brush, which can also be used in the crease if you want it to be really defined. The last makeup item is a NYX eyeshadow trio - but a special one, since it is an ipsy collaboration. There are three basic shades: a shimmery light brown, a bronze, and a matte black. The shadows are quite nice, but I noticed they have more fallout than I'm used to. I think this would be a great traveling palette since it is so small.

I do like this lavender nail polish by Trust Fund Beauty (the shade is called Elegantly Wasted). However I already have two nail polishes with similar shades! Ah well. The polish is "5 free" and also vegan and cruelty free. The last item in the ipsy bag is a wee little sample of Avene Soothing Moisture Mask. I'm not quite sure what this is though - Duh, it has "mask" in the name but it feels like a very nice face cream and sinks into the skin nicely. Hmm.

So that's all for the bag this month. I'd say that was a good haul!
