My skincare routine is really simple. Every day I cleanse and moisturize, and every second day or so, I use a face mask. However, it felt as though something was missing, and that was a good toner. I'd tried some toners before, but never really cared for them. They became forgotten products that eventually stayed in the back of the cupboard. However, I spotted this Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner on sale on Well.ca and decided to give it a go.
Besides the great reviews, I was attracted to the packaging and the fact that it is natural. I use it with a cotton round every morning and night. The toner has a lovely, inoffensive light rose scent. Thayers actually do this toner in a range of different scents, such as cucumber and lavender, or unscented if that's what you prefer.
A couple of weeks ago, I did a post on My DIY Facial Mist. In the post, I wrote that I used rosewater in my solution, but now, I've started to use this rose-scented toner instead. It's great to spray just before applying sunscreen and makeup, or simply to freshen up throughout the day.
