Behold, the August ipsy bag in its tacky, plasticky, shiny houndstooth exterior. But it's what's inside that counts, right? That's what I'm trying to tell myself, then I remember that I also paid for the makeup bag too, so....
Let's look at the things that came inside the bag:
These are both pretty random but I guess I like them. I tried out the Eco-Beauty Night Cream and it was all right. There is a good amount of product in it, which I appreciate. And then there is the Divine In-Shower Body Moisturizer (which looks like it was written in Curlz MT font lol) which I haven't tried but I'll save it for a holiday.
I'm really enjoying all of these makeup products. The Hydragel Cream Blush by Doll 10 is a basic cream blush in the shade "Flirt", a nice medium pink colour. The texture is quite soft and it blends in easily. The next two products actually make a nice combo on the lips: Noyah Natural Lipstick in "Desert Rose" and the Lord and Berry lip liner in "Nude". Mixing both shades together creates a nice browny-pink. The lipstick is sooo cute and mini, about the same size as the MUFE birthday sample lipstick from last year.
Altgether, not a bad selection this month... all the makeup have found a spot in my handbag. The cream blush is great for touchups throughout the day, and it has a really good mirror. My only gripe is with the makeup bag which is pretty ugly.
