Hits and Misses in my April 2015 Ipsy Bag

Not a bad month. Mostly hits, and one miss. The theme this month is "Beautifully Bohemian" and so the bag is a cute woven pattern. I'm not sure what else is I got is bohemian, though.

Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum by Hey Honey    I really like this!! It looks like creamy honey out of the tube and it sinks into the skin wonderfully. My face feels so soft and smooth, and it also gives a wonderful base for makeup. Plus it smells good. I might have to buy the full size version when this runs out.

Starlooks lipgloss in "Cuddle"
I guess it's cute, perfect to throw in a purse. I'm just not into lipgloss. I'll still classify it as a hit, though, because it's not gritty or sticky.

The Balm Nude Dude eyeshadow in "Flirty"
LOVE this eyeshadow colour. The colour is taupey-purple with gold shimmer. So so pretty and right up my alley. I love me some purple makeup.

All Natural Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm by Mullein & Sparrow
Disappointing. It's supposed to be a tinted balm but it has absolutely NO colour. I even scraped the surface with my nail and swatched it on the back of my hand - still no colour. And it smells weird, bordering unpleasant. Maybe I got a bad batch? It's a shame because I was looking forward to this product. This is a total miss. It's going in the bin because I wouldn't even give this away to someone.

Hikari blush in "Tango"
It's a nice blush colour, it gives a fresh pink flush to the cheeks. My only gripe is the packaging; it is unnecessarily bulky and it feels cheap and plasticky. I appreciate that ipsy gave the full size version, though.
