Blogmas Day 23: Holly Jolly Haul

While Christmas shopping this past week, I picked up a few items for myself...
The most exciting item for me is the scarf - it is SO warm and soft. One side of it has a tartan pattern, and the other side has a multicolour houndstooth pattern. When unfolded, it makes for a nice blanket which is handy to wrap around yourself when you get cold indoors. I bought the scarf at a local boutique for $19, but I've seen these types of scarves being sold everywhere so they shouldn't be difficult to find.

I got two clothing items: a crewneck sweater from American Eagle Outfitters, and a t-shirt from H&M. The sweater is grey with a cute little floral pattern, and cost about $15. It fits quite loose and comfortable. The material is not that warm but I do wear a plain white t-shirt underneath it, which I think looks cute when poking out from under the sweater. The t-shirt from H&M was only $7 and is quite oversize, which I like. That means I can wear it with leggings and it will cover my butt! It has a grey/black leopard print pattern, and I think this will also look cute when worn under a plain sweater so you see this pattern poking out.

My Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil was getting dangerously close to depletion so I picked up a new one at Sephora. I also found this Becca double-sided eyeliner pencil at Winners for $4. Bargain. The pencil is called "Santorini". One side has a navy blue eyeliner, and the other side has a nude colour, perfect for the waterline.

At Shoppers Drug Mart, I bought a L'OrΓ©al Magic Lumi concealer/corrector. I'm not crazy about it, but it does the job. Since I've been a little obsessed with Rimmel lipliners, I got another one to add to the collection. It is in the shade "Enchantment" which is a bit of a deeper/plummier colour than "East End Snob".

So that's everything! I'm quite pleased with what I got without breaking the bank - there are so many good sales now.
